Location: Petworth, Washington D.C.

Join us on Saturday, December 14 for Unsilent Night Washington, DC, a free music parade suitable for all ages. Started in NYC in 1992, Unsilent Night is a luminous sound sculpture written to be heard in the month of December. It takes the form of a street promenade in which the audience becomes the performers by playing numerous tracks on boomboxes carried through city streets.

We will meet at Sherman circle at 5:45pm. Shortly thereafter, we’ll press play on our devices at the same time, then head off for a musical walk through the Holiday lights of Petworth to enchant the neighborhood. Approximately 30-45 minutes later, our walk will loop back to Sherman Circle where the music will conclude.
